Document storage

Finance Frank Pro includes secure document storage so you can keep important financial documents alongside your financial data.

Document storage requires a Pro plan.

Uploading a document

1. Go to Documents

Click Documents in the navigation (Pro users only).

2. Upload a file

Click Upload and select a file from your device. Supported formats include:

  • PDF documents
  • Images (PNG, JPG)
  • Spreadsheets (CSV, XLSX)

3. Organise

Add a title and optional tags to make your documents easy to find later. You can also link a document to a specific entity or transaction.

What to store

Common documents to keep in Finance Frank:

  • Tax returns and notices of assessment
  • Receipts for deductible expenses
  • Insurance policy documents
  • Property valuations
  • Loan statements
  • Superannuation statements
  • Investment purchase confirmations

Finding documents

Use the search bar in Documents to find files by name or tag. You can also filter by entity or document type.

Security

All documents are encrypted at rest and in transit. Only you (and any collaborators you've granted access to) can view your documents. See our Security & Privacy article for details.
