What is an SMSF entity?
An SMSF (Self-Managed Super Fund) entity lets you track your self-managed superannuation fund's investments, contributions, and compliance requirements — all within Finance Frank.
SMSF entities require a Pro plan.
Setting up an SMSF entity
- Go to Settings > Entities and click Add Entity
- Select SMSF as the entity type
- Enter the fund name and ABN
- Click Create
What you can track
- Fund assets — shares, property, cash, and other investments held by the SMSF
- Fund liabilities — limited recourse borrowing arrangements (LRBAs)
- Contributions — concessional and non-concessional contributions
- Transactions — import fund bank statements
- Compliance — track regulatory requirements and deadlines (see SMSF Compliance)
